Mission Statement

Enhancing the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community involvement, and leadership development

Core Values

• Commitment - We are steadfast in our goals to develop learning opportunities for career-minded administrative professionals and to strengthen efficiency and effectiveness. Objectives

1. Increase the number of members involved in chapter activities
   • Participation in community events
   • Chapter meeting structure
   • Mentoring
   • Recognition program – “You Measure Up”

2. Increase the effectiveness of chapter communications
   • Streamline current communications
   • Marketing
   • Website development

3. Increase chapter awareness in the community
   • Through university, community college, and vocational school outreach events
   • Make the IAAP organization more recognizable
   • Form partnerships with relevant community organizations

4. Form a strong internal educational network
   • Build member database
   • Expansion of member handbook
   • Speaker bureau

5. Retain and increase membership
   • Student Chapter
   • Members-At-Large
   • Programming
   • Membership value
   • New member orientation

6. Succession Planning
   • Develop succession planning for chapter officers
   • Re-evaluate and revise as necessary

This strategic plan has been adopted by the members of the Dublin Chapter January 2012
